Skill Centre Program (U8, U9, U10, U11)

Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club's Skill Centre Program aligns with Canada Soccer’s best practices for youth development. The curriculum for this program focuses on the player’s continued love for the ball and progresses into 1v1, 2v2 and small sided games. In our Skill Centre Program our players train twice a week with match play occurring on weekends. There are no player assessments and all interested players are accepted unless the program is full.

The overarching purpose of the Canada Soccer Skill Centre model is to provide players “access to high-quality programs where they can have fun with their friends, learn new skills and play the game in an appropriate format” (For more information on the Skill Centre Program, please review the Canada Soccer Association Skill Centre Manual
