Financial Assistance

Kidsport is a national funding organization that works with soccer clubs to provide registration fee and equipment funding to those who qualify. KidSport provides up to $500 per calendar year, per player.

Please note that as of January 2025, Jumpstart will no longer provide individual child grants for players, but will be focusing their funding through their Community Development Grant program. Therefore, you will no longer be able to apply for Jumpstart funding to cover your child's soccer fees. 

If you need financial assistance, please apply to KidSport to see if you qualify. Once you complete the application, please forward your application reference number or confirmation number to the club to ensure that once your funds are received by the club, they are correctly applied to your player's account.

Sometimes players need further funding assistance. Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club is proud to offer in-house funding to qualifying players through our Everyone Plays initiative. If you have maxed out your KidSport funding for a calendar year, you may apply for Everyone Plays funding to see if you qualify. CLICK HERE for details on our Everyone Plays policy.
