Grassroots Program

Program Description:

Program Description

The Dunbrack Grassroots Program provides players a fun, safe and social experience that promotes a growth of love for the beautiful game of soccer. Many players in this program are experiencing the sport for the first time and the primary goal is for the players to form a connection with the sport. The training sessions have the players moving between skills exercises, physical literacy drills and small-sided games on a rotational basis. The sessions are designed for the players to explore technical development, fair play, and sportsmanship in a fun environment. The Grassroots Program is the foundation for the Skill Centre Program, as well as the pathway into the club’s Youth Programs.

** This summer we have requested additional fields in the Spryfield community.  We hope to have more details on exact fields in coming weeks as HRM allocates our field time. In the event that we are unable to secure additional field allocations in the Spryfield area, we will run our Grassroots Program only in the Clayton Park area.**
